IHMC 2015 Poster

IHMC POSTER

Presented in June 2015

I had the opportunity to go to IHMC 2015 and had a fantastic time hearing about a variety of high-quality research being conducted on various aspects of the (largely gut) microbiome. Below is the poster I presented. It details some very preliminary results we had for the follow-up to the Sloan pilot study.

About This Research

This research explores the transmission dynamics of microbial communities in neonatal intensive care units (NICUs) and their impact on the developing gut microbiome of premature infants. The study builds upon previous findings from the Sloan pilot study, providing new insights into microbial colonization patterns in this vulnerable population.
